Shelby Silver (Artist/Arts and Design Coordinator)

Pieathon is so lucky to have mixed media artist Shelby Silver, who for the second year will be doing live painting at the festival.

Her work embodies the ocean's movement and is inspired by the artist's awakened visions of the life therein. It recognizes the impact of environmental travesty, while striving for and looking towards a hopeful and sustainable future. Shelby also serves as Pieathon's Art and Design coordinator. As such, she has been responsible for booking artists for the event, designing the aesthetic layout of the festival, designing the flyer (for two years in a row), coordinating with the pie baker and securing ingredients, and so much more. She is a powerhouse, whose work ethic is matched only by her warmth and enthusiasm for bringing people together in community. To put it mildly, Pieathon would not be possible without her.
